How long is the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader good for?
The sensor lasts for up to 14 days, after which it will automatically stop glucose monitoring. At the end of the 14 days, the reader will no longer be able to read the sensor. When the sensor has expired, you can easily remove it yourself.
When should I replace my FreeStyle Libre reader?
After 14 days of wear, the reader notifies you that the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor has ended and should be replaced with a new sensor. Can a user still scan the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor and get the last 8 hours of data after the sensor has ended after 14 days?
